Meet The Team

Rita earned her Masters of Physician Assistant degree, from Samuel Merrit University in Oakland CA,  in 2007. From 2008 until 2014 she worked in a busy women's health clinic and she joined Spring Medical Clinic in 2013. Throughout her career, Rita has seen the negative effect obesity has on a person's health, self confidence, and overall quality of life.  She is passionate about weight loss medicine and committed to helping patients feel good, look good, improve their health, and achieve wellness. 

Joseph Toscano, MD received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 1989 and trained in internal medicine at Naval Hospital in San Diego. He has worked in the area of emergency medicine and urgent care for over 25 years. He has been a medical director of Spring Medical Clinic Group since it began in 2008. His dedication to helping patient achieve their weight loss and overall health goals supports the continued success of Spring Medical Clinic Vacaville.
